A street trader sells pictures of Amadou Bamba Mbacké (left) and his sons Serigne Saliou Mbacké (middle) Serigne Fallou Mbacké (lower right)in the streets of Touba, while a man passes by with fake gucchi sandals, also sold by the same street vendors. The 7 sons of Amadou Bamba, who died in 1927, are his inheritants and called the Khalifes Généraux. It was under the magisterium of Serigne Fallou Mbacké second Khalif and Touba that the construction of the Great Mosque of Touba was completed and inaugurated on June 7, 1963.
